With more technology at our fingertips than ever, we are experiencing more neck pain as a culture than ever before. Desk jobs, computer work, sedentary lifestyles all contribute to that pain in your neck. Chiropractic is an extremely effective treatment for finally getting rid of that pain in your neck.
Prenatal chiropractic care is a safe and effective way to help ease the discomforts of pregnancy. Many of our patients also report more comfortable pregnancies and labors. Both of our doctors are certified in the Webster Technique, which is an analysis and adjustment of the sacrum and the surrounding soft tissues of the pelvis to promote optimal biomechanical function for a pregnant woman.
Pediatric Chiropractic utilizes techniques to gently correct spinal subluxations. The birth process can put a tremendous amount of stress on an infant’s fragile spine, so we recommend having your child checked by a certified chiropractor after birth. As children grow, they endure many falls, tumbles, and other stresses, which makes keeping their spines aligned during these critical years so important.
As an athlete, keeping your body in balance is critical for injury prevention. Proper alignment and optimal nervous system functioning is also instrumental in pushing your body to the next level and reaching new goals. Whether you are training for your next Ironman or CrossFit competition or maintaining your weekend jog, regular chiropractic care will help you stay injury-free and reach new levels.
For someone who suffers from headaches, it can be completely debilitating to your life and it can affect your entire family. A person can have severe spinal subluxations in their neck causing their headaches and never know it. We have had patients who suffered with migraine headaches for over 30 years find real relief through corrective chiropractic care.
Research supports chiropractic care as an effective, drug-free option for low back pain. Don’t ignore the warning signs of lower back pain, schedule yourself today for an evaluation to see if chiropractic can help you.
This technique involves using a small, but quick amount of pressure through the subluxated vertebrae in order to restore proper neurological input, movement, and function. This can often lead to hearing a sound or a “pop” during the adjustment, also known as a cavitation. This sound isn’t a sign that the adjustment worked; it’s simply a natural by-product of one and is perfectly safe.
A gentle Sustained Contact adjustment is made with just a fingertip using light pressure to correct the subluxated or misaligned segment of the spine to restore proper neurologic function and movement in the area. A sustained contact adjustment uses no more pressure than you would use to check the ripeness of a tomato while grocery shopping. This technique is extremely effective for babies and young children.
Thompson technique is a low force chiropractic technique that uses a drop table to assist in the adjustments. This “drop” table is designed to allow gravity to assist and work in combination with a manually applied pressure to restore proper joint movement and function. The table often makes a loud sound but rest assured, the technique is very gentle and unlike a diversified adjustment, cavitations are not often heard.
This technique is focused on the relationship between the base of the spine (sacrum) and the base of the skull (occiput) and the reciprocal movement between the two areas as they aid in the vital flow of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) as it surrounds the brain, spinal cord and nervous system. This CSF flow is optimal for health and acts as the circulatory system of the brain and central nervous system. Restoring proper flow of CSF helps restore the functional relationship between the head, spine and pelvis. This technique uses very gentle pressure applied to the appropriate areas or uses blocks or wedges positioned precisely under the pelvis to steadily realign the essential areas of the body, thus ensuring a very comfortable way to restore function to the patient’s body.
The Activator is a hand-held, spring loaded instrument that provides low force impulses to specific areas of the body to restore proper neurological function. This technique is extremely gentle and you will not hear any “popping” or “cracking” sounds, known as cavitations, but simply a small “click” of the device. Kids often refer to this tool as a “clicker” and enjoy its use on their little spines!
Often closely associated with SOT, cranial work is a very gentle technique designed to encourage proper flow of CSF throughout the cranium, surrounding the brain and can influence dura and meningeal tension. The bones of the cranium are connected by joints called sutures where small movement takes place. Restrictions within the cranium can lead to things such as headaches, TMJ pain, feeding issues or breastfeeding challenges, or poor sinus drainage/congestion. We often also use cranial work in order to help infants and children with cranial distortions (“flat heads”) due to torticollis, birth trauma, etc., and can work along with helmet therapy to restore balance and symmetry to those little noggins!
Dr. Rebecca received her Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2018 from Life University near Atlanta, GA. Prior to that, she completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology at The Pennsylvania State University in 2014. During college, when she thought she would go on to become a Physical Therapist, she discovered that Chiropractic was her calling instead. She found her love for chiropractic and the amazing things it could do in helping others and immediately switched paths. During her chiropractic studies she had the pleasure of attending a mission trip to El Salvador serving underprivileged communities and it was during this trip that the spark for pregnancy, pediatric and family care was born. She has had extensive training through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) and is certified in Webster Technique for expecting mothers.
Dr. Rebecca also has experience in multiple techniques to help those of all ages including a background in sports chiropractic, exercise physiology, and extremity adjusting. Having always been an athlete and weight lifter, she has knowledge in ways to avoid injury, use proper form and technique and how mobility training plays a vital role in the body's ability to move and function properly as well. She was a certified Exercise Physiologist by the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) but transitioned her focus to pediatrics and pregnancy when she learned the pivotal role starting healthy habits early could play out long term.
Dr. Nikki Capasso-Boland is dedicated to providing personalized chiropractic care for patients of all ages, with a special focus on pediatric care, prenatal and postpartum support, and athletes. Dr. Nikki has completed advanced training in prenatal and pediatric chiropractic care through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA). She is also certified in the Webster Technique, a specialized chiropractic technique designed to promote pelvic balance and function during pregnancy. In 2014, she participated in a chiropractic mission trip to the Dominican Republic through ChiroMission. She has also been a featured guest on a Lamaze International podcast, where she discussed the role chiropractic care can play during pregnancy and postpartum recovery. Dr. Nikki is currently expanding her expertise through advanced coursework in perimenopausal and menopausal care, with certification anticipated in 2027.
Dr. Nikki and her husband, Brian, have called Haddon Township home for more than a decade. They have two daughters, Lucy and Gigi, both of whom received their first chiropractic adjustments on the days they were born. Dr. Nikki incorporated chiropractic care throughout both of her pregnancies, and her daughters were born under the care of the midwives at Lifecycle Women’s Care and Birth Center. Both personally and professionally, she has collaborated with midwives, doulas, lactation consultants, acupuncturists, and pelvic floor therapists. These experiences have deepened her appreciation for collaborative care and its ability to support families throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period.
Outside the office, Dr. Nikki enjoys walking around town with her family, exploring local restaurants and farmers markets, attending street festivals, cheering on the Phillies, and traveling to new places. Maintaining an active lifestyle is also an important part of her life. She regularly attends classes at Burn Boot Camp and has completed several half marathons as well as the Broad Street Run. She looks forward to taking on fitness competitions in the future.
Dr. Nikki believes chiropractic care can help people improve how their bodies function, move, and adapt to the demands of everyday life. Her goal is to help every patient feel supported, build confidence in their body, and enjoy life to the fullest.

Orthotherapist
Hi there! I'm Chris Davis and I grew up in Haddonfield, NJ in a family where caring for others wasn't a profession, it was a way of life. With a medical lineage spanning nurses, physicians, and specialists, medicine runs deep in my family. My grandfather practiced as an OB/GYN, a legacy that would later shape my commitment to prenatal care as a specialty of my own. My hands-on instincts showed up long before any formal training — as one of six siblings, I was the one working out everyone's knots at the dinner table. I was born to use my hands for healing others.
Orthotherapy is not traditional spa massage. I bring a distinctly clinical focus to every session, working with bodies under stress, dysfunction, and imbalance. Orthotherapy is a specialized, holistic healthcare approach that combines orthopedic massage therapy and kinesitherapy, including joint mobilization, to treat and prevent musculoskeletal dysfunction. By integrating deep-tissue massage, posture re-education, and corrective movement, my goal is simple: restore balance, resolve pain, and return you to optimal function.
I hold a BA from Georgetown University and an MBA from Boston University, and trained in clinical massage therapy at the Barberio School of Massage — one of New Jersey's most established programs — under Rob Barberio, a 35-year clinical massage and physical therapist.
